Extra perspectives and plans from aviation contributors connected with this listing.
We flew into one of Arizona’s most unexpectedly busy GA airports, Phoenix Goodyear Airport (KGYR) and got way more than we bargained for. From getting zippered into a packed pattern to taxiing past the massive AerSale boneyard, this airport delivers nonstop action. We even took a crew car to Luke Air Force Base for some jet spotting and caught a glimpse of what’s next for Goodyear’s aviation scene.
